Roscoe Stark, Artist, is from the small town of Hampton, New York. He has no academic background in art and considers himself the student of creativity and mistakes, priding himself on his relentless passion and work ethic.

Since the age of five Roscoe has known that his true purpose is being an artist. He has worked as a professional tattoo artist and as a professional scenic painter, both of which were not aligned with his values. He now expresses his love of land and animals by farming and caring for his goats, continuing to practice his art privately.

For Roscoe, art is not only a form of self-expression but a form of self-therapy, and he holds the creative process and viewing the world as an artist as an essential function of being. When he has struggled in the past with isolation, loss, pain and setbacks, his art was a constant.

Art saved him.

He was introduced to Dreamshadow® and Transpersonal Breathwork in 2023 when he had reached a point in his life that was far too difficult to tackle alone. That work, and being embraced by Dreamshadow® community, gave him hope that he could heal from past traumas and be valued and accepted—things he never thought possible.

Roscoe is grateful for the opportunity to make art for Drops & Buds and his intention is to express his experiences with Transpersonal Breathwork, the essence of what arises from it, and the texture of the community.
